| Customer Reviews: Not what I'm used too June 11, 2009 RoyBlaze 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Over the years, I've played the Links golf games and liked them well enough. I have a Vista 64bit operating system and couldn't play my old Arnold Palmer version and didn't feel like getting the Tiger Wood version as it would probably be the same. I saw ProTee and took a flyer. It is different. I was annoyed at having to be online and create an account, but I guess that's the way of the world now-a-days. The play though is every bit as good as the other games and I believe it has a lot more options, but as I have not played the Tiger Woods game I can't be sure. One thing though, it's rains during gameplay, but the greens don't slow down the ball.
Really stinks! June 4, 2009 David Ashley (Eugene, Oregon USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this hoping it would be a good replacement for Links 2003, which I really enjoy but doesn't work on Windows Vista. This doesn't even come close. Control of the shot is nearly impossible; there's no way to read the greens; the shot views are all awkward; etc., etc.
This looks like a project that wasn't quite completed, and the suits decided to see if they could make some money off of it anyway.
I love this game it is the best golf game I've ever played June 2, 2009 MSF (California) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
After much hassle trying to get this game working I must say that it is well worth the hassle. It is the best golf game I've ever played. It puts Tiger Woods from EA Sports to shame. The Pro Tee Play customer service is fantastic.
I highly recommend this game to all my friends and all who read this review. You must have internet access to load this game or it won't work.
