7Edit is a productivity tool to browse, edit, search, validate HL7 messages and interact with HL7 interface engines. Some of 7Edit's features include:

* Viewer/Browser. Navigate messages effortlessly. View HL7 data in a human-readable format. Search messages, fields and segments quickly and easily.

* Editor. Edit, search, create and save messages. Modify delimiters and convert messages to different types and versions. Design own messages and Z-segments. Customize and create tables.

* Validator. Check your messages for compatibility, improve data quality, debug and refine issues quickly.

* Simulator. Interact with remote applications from your desktop. Display and Edit messages sent to or received by remote systems and interfaces.

* XML Support. Export data to HL7 XML v2.x format. Create XML schemas to validate output.

* Compatibility. 7Edit supports all popular HL7 versions (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.3.1, 2.4, 2.5, 2.5.1 and 2.6), custom delimiters, z-segments, framing characters and opens unknown message types.
