Excel Password Unlocker 4.0 is designed to recover passwords for Microsoft Excel of all versions from 97 to 2007. It recovers "Password to Open" and removes both "Password to Open" and "Password to Modify" to make the password-protected document viewable and editable for you!

This program is strong in functions! You can not only recover the "Password to Open" but to remove both the "Password to Open" and "Password to Modify". Moreover, it's able to recover long and sophisticated passwords with strong encryption that other programs may fail to. The password recovery rate is high, arriving at 220,000 guesses per second. The program also allows users to set the computer CPU priority to increase its performance. Additionally, it automatically saves the password recovery process and resumes if unintentionally stopped last time. It offers three password recovery modes, including brute-force attack, brute-force with mask attack and dictionary attack. While brute-force attack is powerful in recovering small and simple passwords, brute-force with mask attack and dictionary attack show their advantages in long and sophisticated passwords! Brute-force with mask attack makes the program fully customizable, if any part of the password is known. You can customize the password features as a mask to minimize the recovery time. Provided the password length is known, or some digits, special characters, capitals in the password are known, you may double the recovery speed or even triple or even several tens of times to increase the speed. For example, you remember the password is 6 characters in length, with the middle characters are "A&", the last is "9", then your password is "**A&*9". In this case, the program can just look for the first two characters and the fifth character, instead of the whole password without any clue, like the password length, the characters in the password.
